Annual Food Drive - 2010

Once again the NYSUT Food Drive was a success.  The entire BCSD community contributed to this success.  The drive was held from January 19 – February 5th.  We collected $5754.06 and over 3200 pounds of food for the Mt Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry.  This food pantry distributes food to all in need within our BCSD community and the money collected an essential part of their budget.  It is interesting to know that $5 provides approximately 41 pounds of food = 54 meals and 25 pounds of food provides approximately 33meals.  Our contributions will provide approximately 66,377 meals.

A very special thanks to the coordinators of this annual drive:

            BCSD Coordinator – Caitlin Hall
            BHES – Skip Earle
BVES – Danielle DeCapua and Kristin Cacciapaglia
            MKES – John DelFavero
PRES – Dana Keith and Valerie Schiffer-Danoff
WPES – Anne Crescitelli and Andrea Rogers
FLMS – Joan Kazer, Steve Quinn and Amy Garrahan
            FLHS – Paul Tooker
