Annual Food Drive - 2009

Food donated to Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry
Total Food Donations:                        approx. 5000 pounds
Total Cash Donations:                        $ 4800.00
Thanks to everybody who participated!

The Food Pantry provides for families in need.  In this economic downturn and the rising cost of food, increasing numbers of families are turning to the Food Pantry, not for emergency relief, but for extended relief.  The food pantry is currently providing assistance to more than 100 households per week.  Our donations have already gone towards easing the burden for those families.

A very special thank you and recognition goes to Bev Card, Director of the Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry and a BCSD CSEA Employee, for all her advice and help coordinating the drop off of food at the Food Pantry.  Thank you Bev, for all the work you do with the Mt. Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry and the NYSUT Annual Food Drive.
Also, a special thank you to the following BTA members:
BTA Food Drive Coordinator: Cait Hall
Paul Tooker, Megan Stanford, Skip Earle, Cristina Valentine, Betsy George, John Delfavero, Ilana Cohen, Susanne Cusato, Anne Crescitelli, Andrea Rogers, Marylou Cavaliere
